Day 4

I have no idea how, but I managed to sleep in until 1pm today! Well, that's what brunch is for, I suppose! :)

Today's breakfast:

  • 1.5 scrambled eggs (again, this is an estimate) with pepper
  • 2 really thick pancakes, with a tablespoon of butter
  • 1 biscuit, with a tablespoon of grape jelly
This breakfast/lunch was really carb-loaded, so I'm going to try to stay away from starches and bread for dinner.


Yum yum, dinnertime... I didn't have any decent materials in the dorm room for a salad, so I went downstairs to eat.
  • 1 salad - consisting of lettuce, lots of cucumbers, carrot shavings, (very) few bits of chicken, broccoli, and italian dressing
  • 1 rotisserie chicken breast
  • green beans
I ate most of the salad, and only about half of that chicken/green bean plate.

Then the sweet tooth kicked in...

I had a blonde brownie... which is basically a brownie without chocolate. It's a bit ridiculous, I know, but it had walnuts in it... makes things a bit more exciting....

But if it were a chocolate brownie with walnuts, I probably wouldn't have touched it. Don't ask me why. Well, I guess it's just that I like my chocolate with chocolate, and nothing else touching it. Weird, I know.

Sooo, a lot of bad carbs for me today :( but I think for the most part, I didn't really overeat too much... I had just two BIG meals today instead of three small meals with a bunch of snacks like I usually end up doing during the week. Not really sure which is better or worse.
